A true classic from Gordon. This is for the Splinter’s page.

Recorded after the breakup of Hardwood Falls, this track features some of Bathurst’s finest musicians; Chris McCusker on bass and Dave Fitzgerald on electric, to name a few. I’ll leave it up to Gordon to add the rest of the story. This has to be one of my early post Hardwood Falls favorites.

Well here’s an absolute corker and one for the record books. Gaz and I heard this tonight for the first time in 25 years and we had shivers up our collective spines from start to finish. Kept playing it over and over and over. Wish we were back on that stage. Happy listening to all of you who remember……Gordon.

Spent some time going through old tapes today and came across this one of Gordon and I working through a song that had just been written by yours truly some 20-25 years ago. We were at Gordon’s place then and had a couple of run throughs, Gordon plugged in some extra verses and lo and behold our first co-written song. Recorded on the fly, a jam session that worked out well.

A new version of the song is currently in the works and it sounds something like this
